Neither Christina or Jennifer Lopez has actually confirmed their pregnancy rumors. It is painfully obvious that they both are packing some fierce baby bumps. Privacy is hot commodity in Hollywood and runs in short supply. But the rumor mill spares no one. The latest on Baby-Watch 07 is that they are both carrying twins.

“Damien Fahey told Us that her condition was obvious. “I’ve been around a lot of pregnant women. She walked around like a pregnant woman, sat like a pregnant woman and stood like a pregnant woman,” he says. “If I were a betting man, I’d definitely bet she was pregnant.” Indeed, Us has confirmed from multiple sources that Lopez is about four months pregnant with her first child. Or children - a source tells Us Lopez’s mother, Guadalupe, 61, “is proudly telling people she’s having twins.”

I hardly believe any of the twin theory. Being that we have no idea how far along they are it is difficult to make a judgment when it comes to the size of the bump in relation to carrying twins. It is also unlikely that J.Lo’s momma would be dim enough to go around announcing the pregnancy status.

The NY Daily News made a brief blurb stating that:

“Christina Aguilera and Jordan Bratman could be doubling their family. A reliable source says she’s expecting twins.”

It is one of those things that appear to be coaxing the stars to clear up the confusion. Or maybe they are taking a shot in the dark and hoping it is true. Then again, I could state that I was a size 4 with a killer rack and I can spit gold, but it doesn’t make it true.

“Doctors have confirmed Christina has a viral upper respiratory tract infection with a high fever and abnormal coughing,” Gudinski said in a statement.

“They have prescribed complete bed rest for the next few days.”

In the same statement, Aguilera apologised to her fans.

“Unfortunately, I have fallen ill with a bad flu virus. This is one of the best cities in the world to perform in and I am truly disappointed that I won’t be able to share my show with you all,” she said.

“Thank you for all of the continued love and support and I hope to perform for you all again next time.”

“I think Jordan is concerned and has said so,” an insider told Star Magazine. “But Christina has shown no sign of lightening her workload and fully intends to finish her tour [ending Aug. 3]. If she’s feeling exhausted, she’s hiding it. She’s almost overcompensating, saying how great she feels to ease his worries, because the most important thing to Jordan is a healthy mama and baby.”

“Christina told Jordan that the doctor says it’s totally possible for her to keep working and have a healthy, happy baby. But that doesn’t mean Jordan is happy about it. Christina is the center of Jordan’s world. He’s naturally worried and overprotective. He’s trying not to get angry with her, but he’s probably frustrated that she can’t see his point of view and at least cut back on her commitments a bit.”

Currently, Christina is on tour with her Back to Basics’ album, an album inspired by her love of soul and jazz. She just played in Shanghai, China, her first time performing in the country. Some were surprised that the Chinese Government let Aguilera perform, as they have been known to not allow some people if they are too “vulgar”, for example, like Jay-Z. Christina’s 2002 album “Stripped” was a lot more risky, but I guess since she is “Back to Basics” she is okay.

At a press conference in China, Aguilera talks to reporters about breaking into the acting world:

“I am looking forward to moving into another form of what I feel is another creative outlet for me and that would be actingIt is something that, when I attempt to do it, I want to do it right so it’s important for me that I do choose the right first role for myself.”

While there are many rumors as to what role she would take, such as the role of burlesque dancer Tempest Storm in a biopic, IMDB has no forth coming projects for her. She is credited as an uncredited voice in the animated flick Shark Tale.

Also, it is said that in 2008 Christina will be receiving her very own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

I’m not going to pass any judgment here. It can be very sketchy when singers try to be actors, and vice versaremember Crossroads! However, as an entertainer myself I like to believe I could cross fields, and so I say you never know till you see it. I would love to see Christina kick ass in the film world. She has always impressed me with her killer voice, and the fact that she went against the grain to get rid of her bubble gum image. I think she is very successful at reinventing herself so if anyone, I think she could do it.

Given the latest video interviews from Austin with Rowdy.tv, his friends may have spoken too soon. The guy might not have deserved years in prison for a gram of coke, but he does talk a lot of smack about female artists.

He says that 19 year-old British soul singer Joss Stone goes into the studio looking for attention and sex. He claims “all these bitches [like Joss Stone] want to fuck for tracks.” He says she was sleeping with her 43 year-old producer Novel and quickly moved to 40 year-old producer Raphael Saadiq. He said once she started sleeping with Saadiq she wanted to take Novel’s work off her record.

And he says he was sleeping with Christina Aguilera, and that she cheated on him with both his best friend, JoBar, and his assistant, Jordy (who is her now-husband Jordan Bratman), and three of his other friends. They pranked her by having Jordy tell her that JoBar and Dallas got into a fight over her once they figured out they were both screwing her. All three guys were sitting around a table when Aguilera called all of them in turn and tried to make it up to them. Dallas says that Christina told him she wanted to have a threesome with him and his best friend JoBar.

Dallas goes on about how Christina loved him and how his assistant Jordan (again, the guy who is now her husband) kept telling her that Dallas was serious about her even though he maintained he didn’t want a relationship. He says that Jordan brought Christina to a club one night and that all she did was look for him. He also says that when Christina heard he was at some guy’s house she jumped the fence and broke in looking for him! He tells a long story about how she threw himself at him after Jordan encouraged her.

He says she fucked “five of his friends and told all of them not to tell me.” He also claims he told producer Scott Storch that he was going to score with Christina for sure and that he was incredulous, but that she screwed him too the first day she worked with him.

He says Jordan Bratman, who ended up marrying Christina, used to be his good friend but never calls him back now that he’s married to her. And at the end of tape he reveals why he’s saying all this - Christina got him barred from Clive Davis’ Grammy party:

You know, I’m kind of inclined to believe this is at least partially true. The guy seems like a dick and he certainly shouldn’t be blabbing like this because it’s going to hurt his career. He may have loved Christina though, and could be be pissed that she slept around on him instead of her chasing him like he makes out. Maybe she left him for his assistant and that still hurts him to this day.

It must be the season for celebrity plastic surgery. All of the people who don’t soak up the snow and swag at Sundance can take advantage of some winter downtime to get work done. Jennifer Aniston recently “corrected” a former nosejob, while Katie Holmes decided to go cookie-cutter too. With Christina Aguilera downsizing, it seems like more tapered looks are in.

With legions of fans across so many genres of music, our visitors have been keen to get up close and sing with Christina for a while. She is the only female singer to be unveiled at Madame Tussauds in 2006.”
