In case anyone was wondering if they were casually dating or getting serious, Angel made it clear that he’s anxious to let the world know that Cameron is willing to be seen with him. He name-dropped the actress after his successful stunt escaping from a glass block encased in concrete in Times Square, saying “I’d like to dedicate this escape to my girl Trouble,’ a.k.a. Cameron. I love you baby. Have a safe trip to Europe for your Shrek tour.”

I was hoping that after that Cameron would wise up and keep her distance from the guy. Either the sex is too good or she’s not bright enough to realize he’s milking their relationship for publicity, because paparazzi agency X17 says she’s now on vacation with Angel in an undisclosed location.

The news that Diaz is still with Angel is even more shocking considering that a woman who says she’s Angel’s secret wife has just filed for divorce from the magician. Joanne Sarantakos is mighty pissed that her husband not only never acknowledged her, claiming it would be better for his career if he was single, but had a very public affair with Diaz:

The “secret” Long Island wife of kooky magician Criss Angel yesterday accused him of having an affair with Cameron Diaz, claiming their marriage broke down as soon as the TV illusionist got famous and bedded the Hollywood star.

Celebrity lawyer Dominic Barbara - who represents Angel’s wife, Joanne Sarantakos - says he will now subpoena Diaz and have her testify about their romance, in state Supreme Court in Mineola, to support the spurned spouse’s divorce suit on the grounds of mental cruelty and abandonment.

Angel - who changed his name from Sarantakos and moved to Las Vegas after he hit the big time with his TV show “Mindfreak” - kept his wife of five years “as a secret” to increase his sex appeal to female fans, Barbara said.

The couple had a 15-year relationship, he said.

“We’re naming Cameron Diaz as his lover,” Barbara told the court. “We will subpoena her as soon as she comes back to New York.”

Angel’s wife says she hasn’t seen a dime of her husband’s millions, and that he never sent her a check for $7,000 that he promised her for expenses.

I’m wondering why this didn’t come out sooner. Angel was dating Minnie Driver last year, and was even said to be engaged to her. She was said to have broken up with him back in November after he was publicly flirting with Paris Hilton.

It sounds like Angel’s wife put up with it until she realized that she wasn’t going to get any money out of the deal. Whatever happens, it doesn’t seem like this is going to end well for Diaz. The guy seemed like a jerk even before the news came out that he was married.

While exploring the Inca city of Machu Picchu high in Peru’s Andes, Diaz wore an olive green over the shoulder bag with a red star and the words “serve the people” on it in Chinese. “Serve the people” is a slogan from China’s communist lead Mao’s reign. Perhaps what Diaz didn’t know is that the Maoist Shining Path insurgency killed 70,000 people in Peru during the late 80’s and early 90’s through assassinations, bombings and massacres.

Cameron’s bag sells at trendy stores, but the significance of her bag in Peru is certainly more than the significance of it in LA, for example.

Yahoo has this quote from a Peruvian humanitarian:

“It alludes to a concept that did so much damage to Peru, that brought about so many victims” said Pablo Rojas about the bag’s slogan. “I don’t think she should have used that bag where the followers of that ideology” did so much damage.”

I feel this was an honest mistake on Cameron’s part, but one that could have easily been avoided. It is important as a traveler to take into account the history and culture of any place you are visiting, as it is insensitive and can be considered downright rude as in Cameron’s case, to do otherwise.

Diaz and Angel walked arm in arm into the Cirque de Soleil Love performance after a romantic dinner at Prime steakhouse at the Bellagio.

After the final curtain, the pair headed backstage and greeted the cast until just before midnight before leaving through a side door and disappearing into the night in Angel’s car.

Diaz and Angel, who has been linked to Minnie Driver, previously met up on Saturday night at the VH1 Rock Honors and later partied at the Jet Nightclub with Diaz’s BFF Drew Barrymore. Diaz had been scheduled to leave Las Vegas on Sunday with her friends, sources tell PEOPLE, but decided to extend her stay through Tuesday.

Diaz has been linked with actors Djimon Hounsou and Tyrese Gibson since her high profile breakup with Justin Timberlake. Criss Angel dated Minnie Driver for a few weeks last year, and it was said that she broke up with him after hearing that he was flirting with Paris Hilton.

Diaz and Angel may have been comped at the Cirque Du Soliel show. Angel will perform in a magic-themed Cirque Du Soliel to open at the Luxor in 2008.

Cameron recently said the equivalent of “don’t hate me because I’m beautiful.” She described her last two years as very difficult and “hell” and said “why should there be prejudice against someone who’s had some success in films and looks a little better than average It’s all in my genes, so don’t hold it against me.”

Yesterday a report came out that she is dating Uma Thurman’s ex, Andre Balazs. The last I heard Balazs was going out with Naomi Campbell.

Angel is show in the header and linked image below at the VH1 Rock Honors afterparty on 5/12. He kind of looks like a douche to me, but I haven’t seen his show and didn’t know who he was until today.

The ‘Shrek the Third’ star continued: “She just has to get it plastered all over the world and [have] 10 helicopters around her house, which I live not too far from — I was like, ‘Can you keep it down’ So we all suffer when Paris suffers.”

Aww, poor baby. Not. It’s a good thing Cameron is in the business of acting, because she makes a lousy philosopher. Aside from trying too hard to sound like she reads Confucious in her spare time, the only thing Cameron seems worried about is getting some peace and quiet at her house. She’s not worried that Paris is about to be tossed around prison by angry lesbians. Nope. Cameron just wishes her neighbor would stay the fuck out of trouble because she doesn’t want no damn helicopters circling her house.

I don’t feel sorry for Cameron’s noise pollution problems and I hardly think it can be called “suffering”. That’s the price you have to pay when you live near the one of the most photographed celebrities in the world. I feel more sorry for the viewers of TRL who had to see Cameron Diaz in the most hideous pair of overalls I’ve ever seen. It looks kind of like what Julia Roberts wore in Pretty Woman, except it’s made of denim. Awful. My eyes are suffering.

Cameron Diaz was spotted getting cozy with Blood Diamond Oscar nominee Djimon Hounsou at L.A.’s Hyde Lounge on Thursday.

A rep for Diaz says the pair are just friends. “Cameron was out to dinner with friends, they ran into Djimon and he joined them for a drink at Hyde,” says the rep. “They are friends, nothing more.”

A rep for Hounsou did not return calls for comment.

But the ever reliable patrons with their patronizing tone and their eagle eyed celebrity eaves-watching felt differently about the pair:

“It looked like the perfect post-Valentine’s Day date,” a patron tells PEOPLE of the pair, who were with several other friends.

“They were totally vibing each other, lip-on-lip action,” says the source. “Cameron looked so happy… Djimon followed her every move.”

Diaz, 34, and Hounsou, 42, hit the dancefloor says the onlooker, adding, “They were dancing really close, bodies pressed together.”

Lip on Lip action is pretty strong confirmation — St. Liponlipia is well know as the patron saint of realiable gossip. Ask the Pope … sh’s the one who told everyone he wears gay red Prada loafers.

But their Diaz-Djimon bodies are no longer pressed together: the only thing beingpressed now is Cameron Diaz’s people — pressed for an explanation of how Charlies Angel lost Hunky Hounsou to the Queen of Baby Phat.

Last week, the “Blood Diamond” star was all over Cameron Diaz. This week, he turned his attention on Kimora Lee Simmons.

Hounsou and Simmons made out all night at Boulevard 3 in L.A. Tuesday during a Dom Perignon dinner for Forest Whitaker. The two, there to help celebrate Whitaker’s Oscar win, ignored Oprah Winfrey, Mary J. Blige, Chris Tucker and Quincy Jones to grope each other, and left together.

Kate had another funny mishap during yesterday’s appearance on “Good Morning America.” Diane Sawyer showed an old breakfast ceral commercial clip featuring an 11 year-old girl that was thought to be Winslet. It was some other child actress, though, and Winslet didn’t have the heart to tell Sawyer on the air that it wasn’t her!

She explains, “Recently, I’ve been doing a lot of press. Odd things keep happening. People keep digging up little nuggets of research that they think no one has ever seen before and it’s not going quite according to plan. I was on Good Morning America with Diane Sawyer, who is a wonderful, lovely woman and they thought they would surprise me by showing a clip of a breakfast cereal commercial that I was in when I was 11 years old, but it wasn’t me. I just didn’t have the heart to say, ‘Oh, God, Diane, I’m really sorry, but your researcher got it wrong. It’s just not me.’”

A stunned Winslet didn’t say anything at the time about the faulty clip because she didn’t want anyone to lose their job. She adds, “I just didn’t want the researcher to get fired!”
